How to Become a Stockbroker in Oregon
 – Education

 – Licensing
However, before becoming a CFP, you must find adequate employment from a FINRA member brokerage firm, wirehouse or exchange so that you can be sponsored to take the Series 7 Exam. The state of Oregon also requires either the Series 63 or 66 exam as well.
 – Registration
To be able to sell securities to investors, you must also register with the Finance and Corporate Securities Division in the state of Oregon. Form U4 should be filled out and submitted through the Web CRD (Central Registration Depository) and a $60 fee will be withdrawn from a Flex Funding Account.
