How to Become a Stockbroker in Alaska

(1) – Education

Becoming a stockbroker in Alaska first requires sufficient education and knowledge about the industry. Obtaining a degree in Finance or Business Administration is the first step.

(2) – Licensing

To be able to facilitate trades on your clients behalf and earn commission, you must take and pass the Series 7 Licensing Exam.  Sponsorship from a wirehouse that’s a member of FINRA is required.

(3) – Registration
